Some thoughts and advice from my recent Kickstarter campaign.

NOTES ON THE HARD STUFF (FACTS AND FIGURES)

:: This campaign was created to help re-start an online video blog I had done in 2006. It was fairly popular and there was a significant amount of interest in my doing it again. I have a…

Completely awesome! Now I’m scared to look for these on eBay … the prices are probably terrifying.

If Deus Ex ever gets a full concept art book aside from that pamphlet passing itself off as a concept art book with the collector’s edition, I will be insanely happy. Definitely some of the most revolutionary futurist culture studies since Blade Runner.

Even their approach to fashion was insanely rich in its exploration: a revolution of technology, a new renaissance. So what did they do? Take renaissance fashion into the future while remaining well within the realms of what an actual runway collection would do. In an era of either far too mundane or far too over the top wardrobe design in gaming, Deus Ex was a revolution in its own right.

Kamen Rider Ouja

Nice! I actually shot a bunch of pics at the Tamashii Nations booth at New York Toy Fair. I need to get those posted.

Interview With My Boss

I completely missed this interview with Steve Jackson over at Board Game Geek. I guess that’s the problem with taking a little time to relax over the holidays.

Anyway, click through if you want to find out about how Steve got into the gaming hobby, what he enjoys playing, and for the ever-popular “which is your favorite design?” question that’s standard in interviews.

I had a lot of fun creating this wild Mega Man illustration.

The cool thing about taking a moment to sort through the stuff I ended up with after Gen Con is that I see things I’ve never seen before. I’m not even sure how a post card for Genesys found it’s way into my office, but some of the art looks neat.
